The Literary Society was started by a group of engineering students
who wanted an activity that could test their non- technicai skills and
develop their personality.
With this objective the idea of “EPIPHANY” was
conceived in 2002.
EPIPHANY is the foremost inter collegiate inter-disciplinary event
that draws a wide plethora of participants, right from Junior co,re students to professionals from various corporate houses. The event is completely managed and run by the students of the Literary Society of VIT.
Since its Introduction in 2002 epiphany has grown rapidly, with 10000 footfalls in 2008, It is one of its kind, being a non-technical event of such scale from a technical institute in Pune. Epiphany brings out the competitive edge of everyone!
Involved with it, making It one of the most coveted and euphoric literary and cultural events in Pune.
Last year, epiphany was conducted in association with the
COMMONWEALTH YOUTH GAMES, 2008 and had sponsors like Forbes-Marshall, Sandvik, Quick Heal, Mitcon, Bank of Maharashtra as well as publicity
partners like Radio City and Café Coffee Day.
