Camel Art Foundation held its first art exhibition in the year 1998 at Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. Since then a series of successful regional art exhibitions have been held every year encompassing wide and varied groups of the Indian Art Fraternity. A large number of paintings of the participating artists have also been sold in these exhibitions.
To facilitate wider exposure of the art exhibition Camelart Foundation will be holding its annual Western Regional Art Exhibition in Pune. This is first time that Pune will play host to this prestigious event.
The exhibition is with the association with Indiaart Gallery. The entries were called from Professional and Student categories from western region and now the exhibition of selected entries / paintings will held at Indiaart Gallery. There are Cash awards and certificates will be presented in Professional and Student categories. The winning Professional Artists and Art College Students of all the four regional exhibitions qualify for national selection which carries the coveted Camlin sponsored visit to the famous Art Galleries in Europe.
56 paintings will be on display. Mediums are Oil, Acrylic, Water colour & mixed media on paper & canvas.
