KRIYA Cafe presents, in association with the internationally acclaimed TIN CAN : PERFORM theatre workshop for 2 age groups 10 -15 yrs and 16 – 22 yrs.
After a very successful stint with The Theatrician in summers for their seasonal installment of PERFORM, KRIYA Cafe, this autumn, collaborates with the the most exciting talent on the theatre horizon in Kolkata – TIN CAN.
Formed in 2005 by Tanaji and Kanti, the production house, Tin Can, has been staging original plays in Bengali, Hindi and English. Tin Can participated in Thespo, the youth theatre festival in Mumbai, where their play Video, bagged the best director and best production design award.
Tin Can is one of the two international groups to have been selected by the National Theatre of Scotland as part of their exchange programme.
The young team travelled to Scotland in July this year, to hone their skills and stage their original production there. Meanwhile, movie enthusiasts would remember them in Anjan Dutt’s film, Madly Bangali.
TIn Can has conducted numerous successful workshops in various schools and this latest collaboration with KRIYA Cafe is an effort to rock the city with the most exciting event on any youngster’s calendar !!!
