SKIING CAMP AT SOLANG!

BASIC COURSE IN SKIING AT SOLANG VALLEY: *Subject to weather conditions

Itnerary
Day 1: Delhi – Manali
Board the Volvo Coach to Manali. O/N bus journey
Day 2: Manali – Solang Valley: Introduction to Skiing
Reach Manali early morning and transfer to The Village House by 360 Himalaya at Solang Valley. Issue of ski equipment and introduction to ski instructors, your equipment and various ski techniques. In the evening, there will be a lecture on ski care and maintenance.
Day 3 to 6: Skiing:
In these 4 days you will learn to walk with single and double skis on a flat ground, slide and balancing, fall and recovery, side stepping and herring bone stepping to climb uphill, to stop while sliding down, snow ploughing, traversing in snow plough position and snow plough turning to both left and right side, snow plough turns on gentle, moderate and steep slopes, snow plough through slalom poles and basic swing exercise.
Day 7: Solang Valley – Manali:
Skiing ends at Solang Valley. After breakfast leave for Manali. Spend the day exploring the town, shopping for souvenirs and enjoying some great cafes and restaurants sprinkled around the town. O/N at The Pinewood House by 360 Himalaya at Shuru Village
Day 8: Manali – Delhi:
Board the Volvo Coach by evening for Delhi. O/N bus journey
Day 9: Delhi
Reach Delhi in the morning. Trip ends
