The Xylopholks are a dynamic group of musicians who mostly play novelty jazz, Latin jazz, and ragtime music from the 1920’s.
Picked as the Village Voice’s “Best Buskers” the Xylopholks have rapidly become a familiar sight and sound to many around the world. The Xylopholks are led by Jonathon Singer with Carmen Staaf and Bridget Kearney.
They play novelty Jazz, Latin Jazz and Ragtime repertoire of the 1920’s. Since the group’s formation in 2008 they have appeared on the streets of New York, International Music Festivals, and memorials.
This will be the first tour of its kind to introduce this genre of music to the People of India.
