DAY 01
Early morning pickup from Haridwar/Rishikesh. Transfer by road to Srinagar (4 hrs). A short river run today across easy to moderate rapids. Camp is established at a beach near Bagwan.
DAY 02
Break camp in morning, and proceed with the river journey. Today we would encounter exciting whitewater section. Paddle across the confluence of Bhagirathi with Alaknanda at Deoprayag. From this place the river is christened as Ganga. Beyond Deoprayag, it is an easy float section to arrive at a beautiful beach called Beas Ghat. Setup camp here. Beas Ghat is huge beach which is fringed with forest on one side and the river on the other.
DAY 03
Today we would paddle towards Kaudiyala, where we would encounter Daniel’s Dip. This rapid is short and can be quite difficult in low volume. We would raft further to setup camp near a class III/IV rapid called Wall. The roar of this rapid is enough to make the environment reverberate. This would be a constant reminder to the participants for what we need to negotiate first thing in the morning next day.
DAY 04
After breakfast, the camp is winded up, and everything is packed in dry bags. The rafts are once again put into the water to continue our river journey. Apart from Wall, Today we would run several exciting class III kind of rapids like “Roller Coaster” and “Golf Course”. We would finish our trip near the temple town of Rishikesh.
