iDreamtheatre is all set for the World Premiere of its next mega production -’Bring down the Walls’, a never before musical that also marks the emergence of creative home-grown attempt at presenting Concert Theatre in India.
This avant-garde musical will be performed as a part of the 20-day long carnival showcasing the confluence of varied forms of performing arts.
‘Bring down the Walls’ is a unique production as it ventures into hitherto unexplored territory. For instance, all performances will take place inside a specially designed portable mini-stadium with a seating capacity of over 2500 people thus creating the ideal theatre watching experience.
Rahul Dasinnur Pulkeshi’s decade long dream for this Concert Theatre project has today undergone a whole new transformation in terms of the magnitude, shape and focus. Never before has India witnessed such a gala exhibition of creativity.
The production aims to bring down the stereotype walls that have compartmentalized our creative expressions like Art, Theatre, Music, Films, Fashion, Technology etc. and features renowned film and theatre personalities of the stature of Tom Alter, Lushin Dubey, Imaad Shah etc. alongside talents from other creative verticals like Vidushi Mehra, Opera Singer Reuben Israel, Ram Gopal Varma’s protege Manish Srivastava who is doing the Script and Thespian Barry John’s long standing assistant N Kumar as Director.
