‘30 Din’ an adaption of Mahesh Dattani’s ‘30 days in September’, is an intense and gripping tale of love and betrayal. It explores the brutal severance of the unbreakable bond between an adult and child.
The play is a dark tale of the horrors of childhood abuse and the slow, painful process of overcoming its warping effects. A mother and a daughter dwell in a complex relationship, which sets them both on a journey of self discove…ry about their lives and their inextricably linked past.
“30 din” got Best Production (critic choice), 2nd Best Production (Judges’ award), Best Actress, 3rd Best Direction, Best Light, Best Stagecraft, 2nd Best Music in the National Theatre Festival (all india Bengali Short Drama Competition) organised by New Delhi Kalibari in association with Sangeet Natak Akademi 2010
